Motosumo is a Danish developed app that makes exercise and cycle training an interactive and better experience – regardless of it taking place at home or at a gym with an instructor.
Thanks to the unique technology of Motosumo the individual user and gyms enjoy a fully interactive exercising experience at home or at the gym with a global team of instructors and more than 300 live- and on-demand-classes every month without having to use state of the art bicycles or specialist equipment. All you need is a bike and the app. Motosumo’s mission is to supply our members with the opportunity to live healthier life with interactive, community-based, and instructor-driven indoor cycling workouts available for free. Users of all levels can use any stationary bike, open the app, and begin the journey with just a few clicks. Gyms are integrable with Motosumo and can be the host of classes with either their own instructor or with the use of our live- or on-demand-classes on any big screen – a TV, projector or any unit supported by a browser.
Motosumo was founded in 2015 by a Danish team of engineers, astrophysicists, and an elite athlete. They created the first and, until now, only app in the world that utilize integrated motion sensors in smartphones to generate live fitness measurements (e.g., cadence, distance, and calories) on indoor bikes.
As an active cyclist myself I acknowledge great potential in the development of Motosumo.
